This individual committed suicide by hanging. Here the body is at the morgue for inspection. Hanging is one of the most commonly used methods for suicide in both sexes worldwide.

From a forensic perspective, suicidal hanging typically shows signs like a ligature mark high on the neck, upward and oblique in direction. There’s often no signs of struggle or defensive wounds. The scene usually lacks signs of disturbance. Petechial hemorrhages may occur. Suspension can be complete or partial.
