A rare case of homicidal double cut throat – on front and back. There is also a deep cut on right cheek [one-sided Glasgow smile]. A close up of the neck in the same case shows ligature mark of strangulation, as the victim was strangulated. Note the sharp edges of cut throat wounds. A close-up of the wound shows severed internal and external carotid arteries. Together the two wounds may be taken as ‘double cut throat’. If both cuts are deep enough, they might result in decapitation.
